The 2750 bar Stripe Hog® is the most complete, comprehensive and conveniently operated captive waterblasting system in the world. The patented array of needle sharp water jets easily removes thermoplastic, epoxy, temporary tape and painted markings without damage to either asphalt or concrete surfaces. For the removal of rubber tire deposits on airport runways, a different, specially designed cleaning head preserves both the integrity of the runway grooves and the friction of the surface aggregate.

The outstanding removal method provided by the Stripe Hog® is dramatically enhanced by simultaneous vacuum recovery. Not only are pavement markings and rubber deposits effectively removed, they are immediately cleared away leaving a surface that is completely void of both excess liquid and debris. If the job at hand calls for it, a new marking can be placed in the same location of the old marking in 15 – 20 minutes. There is no hazardous run off and the need for all secondary vacuum or sweeper trucks is completely eliminated. For our international customers, the Stripe Hog® equipment can easily be adapted to a truck chassis sold and serviced in your country. The chassis selection is made by you – the customer – and we are proud to say that the Stripe Hog® is working successfully on trucks manufactured by MAN, Volvo, and Scania. And while to date, none of our customers have selected one the following trucks, our research confirms that the Stripe Hog® can also be successfully built on a chassis manufactured by Diamler/Mercedes, Renault, and Iveco. Where there is pavement, asphalt or concrete, there will likely to be markings. Where there are markings, there will at some point be a need to remove or rejuvenate those markings. Not every marking can be reached or easily removed by a large truck because of its location. That is why Waterblasting Technologies offers an optional, tractor mounted cleaning head. It is surprisingly quick, easy to maneuver, and perhaps best of all, is easily transported to the job site on the same truck as the Stripe Hog® equipment. With the proper amount of water and vacuum hoses, the tractor mounted cleaning head is able to operate effectively up to 40 meters away from the truck. This makes it an ideal solution for pedestrian crosswalks, car parks – single or multi-level – and for airport gate markings under a passenger loading ramp. If the tractor mounted cleaning option won’t get the job done, a walk behind cleaning head will operate in areas that are more confining. Both the tractor mounted option and the walk behind option include simultaneous vacuum recovery. The Stripe Hog® will also support a handheld blasting wand for high pressure surface preparation or cleaning. One truck – with optional cleaning heads – equips you for many applications!
