The power of this unit is in the 12 Gallon per minute 40,000 psi pump. It is twice as powerful and consequently moves at least twice as fast. It was in designing this unit, that we invented the concept of running two consecutive blasting heads (pictured left) in an inline pattern to attack a narrow blast pattern with a great deal of force while still causing little or no damage to the road surface when compared with any other economical removal tool. Our patent pending double Hog Head, coupled with our Hog Arms, provide for incredible versatility heretofore unheard of in the waterblasting industry.

By simply adjusting the joystick in the cab and thereby changing the orientation of the blast heads in relation to the direction of travel, you are able to move twice as fast on narrow lines, (4”-14”) and then in situations such as airports, the operator is able to very quickly adjust that pattern up to 28” in mere seconds. The overlap can be narrowed to ¼” or less to eliminate any “grooving” that may occur as a result of overlap.

Double yellow lines can be removed at optimal speed by simply adjusting the arms once again so that the “no blast” pattern in the center is approximately 2” narrower than the non-painted portion. Because the unit uses 12 gallons per minute vs. 6, we nearly double the water capacity depending on the chassis being used and the state in which the truck will be operating. The vacuum capacity remains at 1,600 gallons. The tractor is optional with this model and can either be stowed right on the truck chassis, or be towed on a trailer behind the truck when needed.

The Stripe Hog® 8000 with Tractor simply adds our tractor blasting system to the 8000 model. The tractor mounted blasting head(s) offer unmatched maneuverability for both the highway and airport industries. The zero turn tractor allows you to excel in otherwise impossible or hard to reach areas such as parking garages and decks. The tractor tethered to the system on the chassis can reach out a minimum of 400 feet and still maintain the water pressure needed and the vacuuming abilities. The Stripe Hog® system is the only system in the world that has an automated mobile tool that fits onto the same primary chassis giving the owner and operator total flexibility for each and every job. On the tractor itself the operator has complete control of the system at all times and with the joy stick control the blasting head(s) can easily be positioned for maximum results.
